Date: April 15, 2010 2:15 pm Location: Hopedale A good day in Hopedale La. , Jim and family went out for a day of fishing lots of red and black drum had 5 pt. 3 were new to red fishing. They got the hang of it fast. 24 reds and 13 black drum.Used dead shrimp under a cork in the grass.Yes the water is back in the grass!!!

Date: September 5, 2009 7:22 pm Location: Hopedale Anther great day in Hopdale with my friends Jim and Jay. We started the day in Black Bay, found nice trout working a school of shrimp in the grass, used live campo shrimp with cork. The Bite was fast, 75 trout some in 17 to 19 in class.We left the trout biting and went looking for reds in the grass 4 nice reds and 3 black drum. 1-2 Anglers $400.00

Date: May 26, 2009 10:40 am Location: Hopedale Great four days fishing in Hopedale lots of wind and lots of fish.Day 1 fishing with Doc. from Tenn we had 5o trout 8 reds 13 black drum.Day 2 fishing Joe and friend limited out in trout 5 reds 3 black drum Day 3 with joe and friend second trip limited out again 6 reds 3 black drum.Day 4 good friends from Lacombe we had 71 trout 6 reds 2 black drum and 2 sheep's. all fish where under a cork with campo's live shrimp, we worked some birds and points.

A great day in Hopedale,fishing with somme good friends jim and family.Went looking for trout real slow, water was muddy all over,the bite was slow. So we went red hunting and found pleanty 17 to 30 in. Real good trip full box.

A great day in Hopedale, had lots of fun fishing with Bill and friends. Lots of wind, (20-30) we went looking for reds and we found a lot. We went to only 4 spots and found 20 reds from 16 to 32 in. and tuned 5 back to fight another day.

Went out fishing in Hopedale on Sat.22 with Jerry and Melissa, what a day we left the dock at 6:30 at 8:30 we had 45 nice trout. We work 3 spots to catch 75 trout 13 reds [24 to 27]. We fished a popping cork with Campo’s live shrimp about 2 ft. down. The reds where in the grass with dead shrimp. This is Jerry and Melissa second trip they cannot wait for the next one.

We started the day looking trout but found some reds running the shore line and quickly had 5 reds in the boat. We had to dodge some storms but the day turned out great 41 trout 13 reds 10 black drum and 3 flounders. A full box of fish it don’t get any better then that!!! Day 2, 60 trout 20 reds and 6 black drumAnother 2 great days in hopedale with Rob and friends.Day one in black bay worked some rigs with live shrimp and salt water assassin [ electric chicken] under a popping cork.Day two hard west wind so we worked some trout under some birds, then went looking for reds in on points and reefs. Date: May 22, 2008 07:36 am Location: Hopedale Another windy day Tue. in Hopedale 15-20 mpg. Tom and his wife came down from Pearl River La. to catch some reds, went out fished grassy points and cuts. Water was muddy so we found some clear water behind some inlands and long points.we used live shrimp on corks. It did not take long to catch a llimit and turned some back to catch another day 15 reds 10 trout 2 black drum Capt. Anthony Dudenhefer 985-960-2110 |
